In this folder is a file of General MIDI names. If you have a General MIDI device, Vision can display program names instead of numbers, and note names for the drum channel, channel 10, instead of MIDI pitches like "C3".
To use this feature:
1. Launch Vision.
2. Choose File>Open.
3. Select the "GM Names" file.
4. A remap dialog may appear. If it does, use the pop-up menus to change "Modem" and "Printer" to the appropriate General MIDI devices in your MIDI studio.
Now when you click on the program change pop-up menu in the Vision control bar, you will see the proper General MIDI names instead of numbers, and if you record on the drum channel, the drum strikes will show the names of the drum sounds instead of generic MIDI pitches.
